A little clarity.
Before the cutover.
What SpamScan is, who it is for, and what is still being built.
Good questions.
Useful answers.
Can I sign up today?
Not yet. SpamScan is in private development. Public signup, subscriptions, and customer mail processing will open after pilot validation.
Is this for businesses or MSPs?
Both. Direct business accounts and MSP accounts with separate client organizations are part of the planned product.
Does SpamScan replace my email provider?
No. Incoming mail is routed through the gateway and approved mail continues to your existing destination. Destination compatibility must be checked during setup.
Do I need a Microsoft 365 connector?
Choose gateway routing for more filtering layers before delivery, or connect Microsoft 365 without changing MX. Microsoft 365 requires Premium AI and scans new mail after delivery. Each organization chooses one protection mode.
What happens to suspicious messages?
Planned policies can hold messages for review, add context, reject during intake, or temporarily defer handling. Quarantine and release workflows are still in development.
What is premium review?
An additional AI review of message text, links and header context. Gateway Premium is $4.50 total per mailbox/month, including up to 2,000 pooled reviews per mailbox. See pricing and allowances ↗
Will users have to review every email?
The planned workflow lets routine mail continue under policy. Review is for held messages or exceptions, with end-user requests and administrator controls.
What happens if the destination mail server is unavailable?
The gateway foundation queues temporary delivery failures for retry. Customer-facing monitoring, notifications, and full recovery validation remain release requirements.
Can it remove messages already delivered?
The gateway alone cannot remove delivered mail or inspect messages that never pass through it. Mailbox integrations are outside the current release scope.
Is business continuity available?
Not yet. Availability and recovery testing are part of launch validation. A continuity portal is a later feature and is not available today.
Where can I see launch progress?
The Product page lists current availability. No fixed launch date, price, or mailbox capacity has been announced.
